Rising junior Jordan Quatchak 📷 is making the most of her summer, taking her camera everywhere and working what seems like a lot.

Jordan Quatchak, who is a native of Pittsburgh, has shot Pirates games, summer sporting events and, here, she is creating photos for Cover Three Athletics at the Pitt 7-on-7 passing camp.

Jordan interns with our athletics department and we can’t wait to see her work continue to improve and shine. Proud of you, Jordan Quatchak!

Delaware North at MetLife Stadium got a great one when it hired evien (‘25) as a club level coordinator last fall.

Recently, Evien has had his hands full… and he is loving every minute of it. ⚽️ 🏟️

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share news of the death of long-time adjunct instructor Keith Labelle.

Keith taught several classes for us since our program’s inception and his PRS370 Sports Branding course was incredibly popular among our students, several of whom served as assistants in his URi-STAND program, as well.

Our condolences go out to his family, loved ones and all he impacted. Our community is a little less bright without Keith.

Alum Mark Radigan (‘25) is living a dream as he covers the FIFA World Cup in New Jersey for the New York Soccer Journal.

Mark is a senior writer for the New York Soccer Journal and is also a media specialist for Ace Endico.

Congratulations to Jackson Stepanian (‘26), who is headed to Greenville, North Carolina to launch his coaching career as video coordinator for ECU Men's Basketball.

While at URI, Jackson served as a manager for Rhode Island Men’s Basketball and worked with USA Basketball, which took him to the NCAA Final Four.

The Pirates are getting a great one and we are so proud of you, Jackson, for this next step on your path. 🩵🤍

Congratulations to rising senior Michael P, who is interning with the Providence Journal sports department this summer.

Michael is an active member of our student-run newspaper The Good 5¢ Cigar, radio station WRIU 90.3 FM and regularly broadcasts games for the ESPN+ coverage of Rhode Island Athletics. 🩵🤍

The ProJo is getting a great one. Way to go, Michael! Keep making us proud.

is living her dream! Kate is a sports reporter and anchor for ABC 11 WTVCD in Raleigh, North Carolina and this week she is in Montreal covering the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

A 2020 URI grad with a journalism major, she minored in SMC, so we are going to promote her and her accomplishments because once you’re on our team, you’re always on our team! Keep making us proud, Kate! We love seeing you doing what you were born to do.

The URI SMC crew visited and toured Dublin’s famous Croke Park.

Croke Park is the headquarters of the Gaelic Athletic Association, as well as the national stadium for hurling, soccer, concerts and more. With a capacity of 82,300, it is also one of Europe’s largest stadiums.
