Join us in celebrating Alyssa Tsukada, a Ph.D. student at .gso, who was recently honored at URI's AAPI Heritage Celebration with the Asian Cultural Ambassador Award.

As a Japanese American artist and scientist, Alyssa brings people together through art, culture, and community - whether she’s hosting workshops, organizing events, or sharing her work at spaces like the GSO Winter Artisans Market.

She is active in student organizations and committees, such as , , and

Visit her current exhibition, “The Little Things - Exploring Nature's Mirrored Microscopic Morphologies” at Narragansett Bay Campus' Studio Blue gallery (open weekdays until August 17).
