🔥 Successful Fire Drill in Kingsville 🔥

Today, our Kingsville team completed a successful fire drill, demonstrating preparedness, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety. Everyone responded quickly and efficiently, helping ensure that we are ready to act in the event of an emergency.

A big thank you to our staff and students for taking this drill seriously and working together to keep our campus safe. Safety is always a top priority, and today’s effort reflects that shared responsibility.

Due to impending cold weather conditions, all Coastal Bend College locations will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

All in-person classes are canceled.

Online courses will continue as scheduled.

Faculty and staff will be available to assist students remotely via phone and internet.

Students should continue to monitor Blackboard and their CBC email for course updates and additional information from their instructors. Employees should connect with their supervisors for department-specific guidance and expectations.

CBC will continue to monitor weather conditions and will provide updates regarding operations as conditions develop. Updates will be posted via CBC email, coastalbend.edu, and social media.

Today is the first day of Spring 2026 classes, and we have great news for anyone still working on registration!

🗓 Spring 2026 registration has been extended through Friday, January 23, 2026.

✅ To take advantage of this extension, please make sure there are no holds on your account.

💻 We encourage students to log in to their student portal and complete online registration as soon as possible to secure a spot in desired courses.
