These two photos are from the High School Senior Day held April 5, 1940. This annual recruitment event was for high school seniors in 25 northeast Missouri counties. About 1800 people attended and were treated to donuts before the opening assembly followed by an opera performed by the college students, then lunch, a tour of campus, songs from the choir ensemble, and a dance. The first photo shows high school seniors in line for donuts. The second photo has four faculty members in the foreground, left to right: Edward Avison, Ruth Curtis, Janet Leslie, Clifton Cornwell, Jr. (college student), and Otho Barnett.

Spring commencement for the class of 2026 was this past weekend, so our photo is from spring commencement 25 years ago on May 12, 2001. The speaker was Diana Ross-Butler, a 1997 Truman graduate who was a lawyer in St. Louis at the time. Congratulations to all of the graduates then and now!

👏🥳😢Pickler Graduated Student Spotlight!😢🥳👏

We are so sad to see some of our wonderful student workers go, but we are so excited to see what they accomplish in the next chapters of their lives! We couldn't be prouder (or more tearful) to say goodbye to:

Lexus, Macie, Upendra, Elssy, Maren, Madka, and Precious!

We hope you'll all join us once again in wishing these brand-new Bulldog alumni a fantastic summer and great success as they take their next steps as leaders and builders!
