Today we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tri County Electric Foundation for their incredible generosity and support of EMS education and training. We are truly honored to have been selected as a recipient of a $2,500 grant that will directly benefit our students, providers, and the communities we serve.

This funding has allowed us to purchase updated American Heart Association teaching materials, new training manikins, and replacement parts for our existing equipment. These resources are essential in helping us continue to provide high-quality, hands-on, and effective EMS education and training.

At The ACADemy and Adair County Ambulance District, we are committed to preparing providers with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver the best possible patient care. Support like this helps ensure we can continue offering realistic, up-to-date training opportunities not only for our own organization, but for the communities we serve and surrounding areas.

Thank you again to the Tri County Electric Foundation for investing in the future of EMS and helping us continue our mission of serving our communities through education and excellence.

Only 3 weeks left until graduation for our 2026 Paramedic Class! 🎓🚑

After months of hard work, long nights, clinicals, ride time, and countless hours of studying, these students are nearing the finish line. Graduation will take place on June 11th, and we could not be more proud of how far they’ve come.

The countdown is on as they prepare for their final weeks of class and their final exam before officially becoming graduates of the program. Help us cheer them on as they finish strong! 👏

🚑 EMS Week 2026 🚑

This week, we celebrate the people who answer the call — day or night, rain or shine, holidays, weekends, and everything in between.

To all EMS professionals: thank you for the sacrifices you make, the compassion you show, and the calm you bring during someone’s worst day. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

From the providers in the field to the students working hard to join the profession, EMS is built on teamwork, resilience, and heart. We are proud to be part of a profession filled with people who truly care about their communities.

Thank you for all that you do this EMS Week and every week. 💙❤️
