Today students, staff and community came together to pack 300 Refresher Kits for local first responders, marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with an act of service. Thanks to everyone who helped, and to PTK for donating supplies like Rice Krispies and lip balm!

Hands-on learning in action!

Our Fall EMT students are spending time in the lab learning and practicing patient lifting and moving techniques, including how to safely use a stair chair.

These are the hands-on skills EMTs need to safely move patients through tight spaces, stairways, and other challenging environments they may encounter in the field. Practice now helps build the confidence, teamwork, and skills they’ll rely on when it matters most.

Our Police Academy cadets recently put their classroom preparation to the test during live-action simulations on campus. Guided by veteran instructors, cadets practiced everything from routine stops to dynamic decision-making—building the confidence and awareness required out in the field.

Run or walk with a purpose! Join Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity and Lakeland Community College for the Stars and Strides 5K on Sept. 12. Every registration supports affordable housing and critical home repairs for local veterans, honoring the spirit of 9/11 through service.
