Lakeland Community College has named Dr. Julie Senita as its new dean of health professions. Senita, who spent the past academic year leading Lakeland’s nursing program, brings more than two decades of regional higher education and healthcare leadership experience to the role.

Congratulations to the Lakeland Community College 2025/2026 Mentor EMT Academy class on successfully completing the EMT program and passing Ohio Psychomotor Skills Testing.

These students have put in countless hours of classroom instruction, hands-on labs, simulations, and clinical training to reach this milestone. They are now preparing for National Registry testing and the next step in their EMS careers.

We are proud of the hard work, dedication, and professionalism shown throughout the program and look forward to seeing the impact they make in their communities.
