St. Cloud, FL/USA Pharmacy Technician Named Finalist in International I.M.P.A.C.T. Awards

Verender Gail Brown, BS, CPhT, RPhT, cMTM, ASHP Pharmacy Technician Program Director and Educator, has been named one of 21 finalists worldwide in the inaugural Pharmacy Technician I.M.P.A.C.T Awards, presented by the National Pharmacy Technician Association (NPTA). She is a finalist in the Education category, selected by an independent committee of nine pharmacy industry leaders from nominations submitted around the world.
“This recognition is both humbling and deeply meaningful,” said Brown. “For nearly 50 years, pharmacy has given me the privilege of serving others, and for the past 20 years, education has allowed me to multiply that impact through my students. The true honor is seeing my graduates provide exceptional patient care and improve lives in their communities worldwide. Their success is, and always will be, my greatest achievement.”

Winners are decided by public voting, open August 20 – September 30 at IMPACT Awards Ballot 2026 – NPTA, and will be announced live on October 20, 2026 – World Pharmacy Technician Day.
