It is with great sadness that we share that our colleague, Dr. Sarah Vandegrift Eldridge, passed away on January 2, 2026. She was an incredible colleague, dedicated scholar, generous mentor, and a thoughtful and reliable friend. The Department feels her loss deeply. All are invited to a memorial service honoring Dr. Eldridge’s life this Sunday, Jan. 11 at 1pm, at the CWA Union Hall at 1415 Elm Street.
