Take a break and join us for a round of virtual SINGO on Zoom to earn points towards the Fanily Appreciation Week leaderboard. SINGO is a musical twist on traditional bingo, where players listen to short song clips and mark off corresponding squares on their cards, aiming to get five in a row and shout "SINGO" to win.

Ken Landgren (’69) spent his undergraduate years studying physics, splitting his time between classes on the Hill and band practice in the music building. His love of both fields led him to the idea of a unique marching drill in which circles feed out from the center, creating a ripple effect. Today, the circle drill remains an iconic tradition of the Pride of the Southland.

UT alumnus Ken Landgren ’69 blended physics and music to design the Pride of the Southland Band’s iconic Circle Drill, a tradition still thrilling fans.

UT’s newly launched Visual and Interactive Storytelling program offers an interdisciplinary major that blends writing, visual art, performance and digital technology to prepare students for contemporary storytelling careers. Students gain hands-on experience with emerging technology while learning about literary history. The program prepares students for careers in fields such as animation and game development, content creation, filmmaking, screenwriting and more.
