We would be thrilled to welcome as many middle school musicians to Rocky Top as possible for this incredible event, led by our very own Director of Bands, John Zastoupil!

Check out this new and exciting update for Alumni regarding the homecoming change!

Join us this year for something new, Alumni Band Day!🍊

As the alumni band continues to grow, this year’s reunion will take place during the SEC matchup versus Auburn!

While separate from Homecoming, we hope this will allow us to attract and facilitate even more members of the Pride family.

We will officially kickoff our campaign to take the Pride to London in the Summer of 2027 as we perform with HM Royal Marines Corps of Drums - Collingwood.

BAND DAY FAQ

1) Will this replace Homecoming?
Yes. Everything that normally happens on Homecoming will just now be moved to October 3. Other than that no changes! All other UTK Homecoming activities will take place leading into the Kentucky game.

2) What went into this decision?
With a new 9 game SEC schedule it makes it harder to be able to have the Alumni band sit with the current Pride at the typical November date. This would also mean less family tickets and we want to ensure nothing changes because of the SEC schedule. The Auburn game coincides with Fall Break, making it possible for the alumni to sit adjacent to the current Pride. This also means more spotlight on the Alumni Band as a the University will celebrate alumni band members on this day!

3) When will registration open?
July 1!

4) How can I assure I am getting the most up to date information for Pride Alumni?
You can follow us on Facebook and instagram and if you did not receive any emails/mailers in the past or know of alumni who didn't receive any information, please fill out your information on the link below! This will help the alumni office GREATLY and make sure everyone's information is current!
