Kiersten Bell didn't just study the human body—she learned how to care for it.

As a Life Sciences major, volleyball player, and certified CNA, Kiersten has balanced rigorous academics with real-world healthcare experience. From researching mutation and adaptation in Molecular Biology to working in nursing homes, she's discovered how science and compassion work together.

Next stop? Physician Assistant school, where she'll combine clinical skill with faith-informed care.

Our Johnson Royals softball team finished as Runner-Up in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round, capping off an incredible season filled with grit, heart, and moments our campus won’t soon forget! 💙

At 11:40 PM on May 13, members of our Johnson community, including staff, faculty, and students, gathered to welcome the team back to campus and celebrate all they accomplished this season!

For the first time in program history, the Johnson Royals Baseball team is headed to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston!

What an incredible accomplishment for this team, coaching staff, and everyone who has poured into this program along the way. The grit, discipline, brotherhood, and perseverance it took to get here cannot be overstated!

Royals, let’s celebrate this moment well and cheer these guys on as they represent Johnson University on one of the biggest stages in NAIA baseball! 👏🏽💙

Meet Dr. Sarah Cathey—Dean of the School of Science, Technology and Mathematics and a Life Sciences professor who's spent 13 years helping students discover the wonder of creation.

With a background in research and a passion for connecting students to the big picture of how God's world works, Dr. Cathey leads labs that feel like close-knit learning communities. Her students don't just study biology—they see it come alive through hands-on discovery and collaboration.
