Founded on April 28, 2006. Member of the Multicultural Greek Council at The University of Tennessee! Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity Inc.

was nationally founded on August 16th, 1996 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Since then, Sigma Beta Rho has expanded through the south to The University of Tennessee, while becoming the most recognized and fastest growing multicultural organization in the nation. Though Sigma Beta Rho continues to grow in a fast and impressive manner, we maintain extremely high standards in expan

sion and recruitment. We require the individuals who wish to join our brotherhood to commit wholeheartedly to our values. Society, Brotherhood, and Remembrance are our pillars. 'Brotherhood Beyond All Barriers' is our motto. We are on another level of South Asian and Multicultural awareness across the United States: East coast to West coast - from Boston to Tampa Bay, Oregon to Michigan, Washington to Chicago, Houston to Virginia, and everywhere in between. For National Intern Day we would like to honor our brothers who have worked this summer:

Daksh Dalwadi - brother Radiance, “Hello, I am a rising Junior majoring in Finance and Supply chain interning as Supply Chain Operations Financial Analyst. I analyze freight cost analysis in order to make key decisions to keep freight costs down.”

Connor Brons - brother Anniv3rsary, “For my internship I’m working as an engineering intern for Hardaway Construction in Nashville, TN. I’ve had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in both technical and interpersonal aspects of the construction industry.”

Shivam Patel - brother Aventador, “I’m working at 21st mortgage as a financial counselor intern. I got the opportunity to learn about the industry. I had supportive colleagues and teams to help mentor me along the way. I’ve learned many things during the 10 weeks at this internship.”

Kalpaj Kotta - brother deXOded, “I work as an intern for the M&I team in customer experience for FedEx. I collaborate with others to find a solution for which teams would be best to handle a company that is using our services problem.”

Every March, Women’s History Month provides an opportunity to honor the generations of trailblazing women and girls who have built our Nation, shaped our progress, and strengthened our character as a people.

Despite hardship, exclusion, and discrimination throughout our history, women have strived and sacrificed for equity and equality in communities across the country. Standing on the shoulders of the heroines who came before them, today’s women and girls continue to carry forward the mission of ensuring our daughters have the same opportunities as our sons.

This Women’s History Month, we reflect on the achievements of women and girls across the centuries and pay tribute to the pioneers who paved the way.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the unfortunate news of the passing of one of our brothers. Yurum Fernandes (Brother Veracity - Tau Chapter), passed away on October 31st, 2021.

It is always upsetting to see a brother pass away. Life is precious and finite. Cherish your moments with your friends and family, near or far, even those not close to you. These tragedies never get easier to deal with. As a Brotherhood, we have to help each other through these things and understand grief never gets easier or hurts less.

Please keep his family and the brothers of the Tau Chapter in your thoughts and prayers.
