Ready to strengthen your foundation and take the next step in your interpreting journey? ASL Street and Partnership Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services are partnering to offer a FREE, in-person workshop focused on the role, value, practice, and ethics of Deaf interpreters.

Participants will explore the history of Deaf interpreting, the pathway to CDI certification, the Code of Professional Conduct, and valuable study resources for the national CASLI written and performance exams.

Criteria for Mobile Mammography Screening:

- Age 40+
- No current breast problems (lump, pain, ni**le discharge, burning)
- Not pregnant and stopped breastfeeding for at least six months
- No personal history of breast cancer
- Must be able to climb stairs independently
- At least 11 months since your last screening mammogram
- Inform us if you have breast implants (will take 2 appointment times)
- Only patient and Interpreters allowed on mobile unit.

Knoxville Center of the Deaf joins UT Medical in Offering mobile 3D Mammaograms.

Where? Knoxvxille Center of the Deaf, 3731 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville TN 37920

Appointment is required. Interpreter will be provided. Appointment takes 20-25 minutes. If you wish to schedule an appointment, please contact the [email protected] and we will contact the committee to make a date for scheduling. Thank you.

Insurance will be billed (UT is NOT in-network for AMBETTER). Women ages 40= without health insurance should ask if they qualify for funding to cover the cost of the screening.

Cash price for 3D screening mammogram is UT Medical $117.63 and Association of University Radiologist (AUR) reading fee is $55.80 and will be billed after the screening.
