This week we are recognizing the Week of the Young Child, an annual event hosted by the NAEYC and designed to celebrate children, families, and early learning!

Along with the , the ELC is excited to launch a new initiative we've dreamed up to keep the work of advocating for childhood going throughout the year. We are calling it and are looking forward to sharing more throughout the week as well as in the coming months.

This week, we will be sharing thoughts from ELC educators, staff, children, and families about the importance of childhood, the rights of children, and our hopes for young children. We invite you to share your thoughts with us and join in the celebration!
