Disasters, Displacement and Human Rights Program The Disasters, Displacement and Human Rights (DDHR) Program is a division of the Department of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The Disasters, Displacement and Human Rights (DDHR) Program promotes holistic training, collaborative research, and applied work on contemporary global and local problems associated with disasters, human rights, and humanitarian interventions. Focus areas include internal displacement and refugee crises; post-conflict investigations, transitional justice; identity and discrimination; the environme

ntal and public health impacts of natural resource extraction and pollution; and the social causes and impacts of wars, (un)natural disasters, and climate change.
