Art educators, this one is going to be special!
Registration is open for the KU Art Education Department Summer Graduate Institute:
Artists as Partners in Pedagogy: Conversations in Making and Meaning
This year’s institute will include artist talks, workshops, and studio time with Liz Quay, Veronica Miller Jamison, and Kara Mshinda, along with a field trip to Steve Tobin’s studio.
Together, we will explore materials, memory, illustration, collage, sculpture, storytelling, community, and how artists’ practices can inspire meaningful curriculum.
Face-to-Face Institute: July 6–9 at Kutztown University
Online Course Component: continues through August 6
Participants may take the institute as a workshop experience or take it for graduate credit, which includes the online course component.
Please register through the KU Art Education Department registration page:

Important note: If you look in MyKU, it may appear that the course is full, but registration is still open through the Art Education Department form. Space is limited, so please register soon.
I would love to have you join us!
