Anika Reiland, an Elementary Education Major, will be student teaching in the fall -- as a Conference Champion!

Julia Yang, Anika Reiland, Makenna Zak and Anna Plautz are the 4x100-meter relay (45.57) NCAA Division III Champions.

CONGRATULATIONS!

We are often asked what sets the UWL School of Education apart from others.

It sounds so cliche ... but it's the faculty and students. All the opportunities we offer are thanks to faculty who are passionate about education, and students who are willing to take risks.

Case in point:

Two Broadfield Social Studies education majors were just selected to participate in the National Constitution Center Pre-Service Teacher Weekend Workshop!

This takes place in August in Philadelphia -- and the cost is completely covered by the NCC!

Students Ashley Wachter and Makenzie Breunig, nominated by faculty members Dr. Vesperman and Dr. Hamblin, will be heading to Philly for the inaugural workshop -- and we couldn't be prouder!
