intaining student records, updating courses, reporting enrollment, providing advisement reports, and recording degrees earned. We also help develop the course schedules each term and administer the academic space in campus buildings. Finally, we confirm academic eligibility for student athletes and provide benefit services to our student veterans. We strive to fully protect student’s educational records as required by the Family Educational and Privacy Rights Act of 1974 (FERPA). The law states that all student information not defined as directory information cannot be released to third parties without the written authorization of the student. This authorization must be given every time the student requests a transcript or asks that a third party be allowed access to the student’s educational record.
