Join us on September 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to explore the space, connect with campus resources, enjoy refreshments, participate in activities, and celebrate alongside students, employees, board members, and community partners.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 12:15 p.m.

The Student Union is more than a building. It's a place where students can connect, find support, get involved, and feel a sense of belonging.

Today, we used $500 of your sweepstakes dollars from our mobile app to kickstart an account we plan to continue supporting.

Betsy (right) and Alyssa (center) work with students in the 'English as a Second Language' program and do an incredible job helping learners build English skills and work toward their GED. They also take students into the community for real‑world practice...ordering food, asking for directions, riding the MTU, going bowling, attending events, navigating City Hall, and more.

They’ve been covering these activities out of pocket, without any dedicated budget, simply because they wanted their students to experience the American culture fully.

If welcoming and acclimating Western Technical College students and new immigrants is something you value, consider reaching out to WTC’s Foundation to show your support.
