What happens when cubing meets the Library’s digital collections? 🎲🧩

In winter and spring quarter 2026, the Library partnered with the Rubik’s Cube Club () to transform images from our digital collections into large-scale mosaic art installations, now on display at WongAvery Library. Using hundreds of Rubik’s cubes (thank you ), students, faculty, staff and the general public worked together to recreate an image of Geisel Library and the Colima Dog in Santa Rosalía.
