UCSD First Year Experience We connect new freshmen and transfers to opportunities and resources across campus that help students Like our page for updates on upcoming events!

The First Year Experience program is designed to help new students maximize their educational experience at UC San Diego through a course offered in Fall and a series of programs and events. FYE facilitates academic success at a research university by helping students understand and embrace academic and curricular expectations, engage and map co-curricular opportunities, and strengthen critical th

inking, organizational, interpersonal, and wellness skills. FYE offers practical advice about student life and educational strategies for success (both in and out of the classroom).
