Dear UC San Diego Surf Team, Alumni, Parents, and Community,

In less than 3 days, UC San Diego Recreation will embark on an exciting opportunity: the University’s first ever Giving Day!

On Thursday, May 16th we will have 1,960 minutes to raise as many gifts as possible to enhance the experience of our student-athletes, supporting them in and out of the classroom. A gift of any size will support such areas as travel opportunities, team dues, equipment needs, strength and conditioning assistance, and more – all creating a valuable, more diversified experience for our student-athletes.

To support the UCSD Surf Team, visit ugive.ucsd.edu/recreation and click on the "Club Surf Team" button at the bottom of the page. If you would like to give early, and still participate go here. I can promise you that any support will impact our students and the team.

Super fun time this past weekend at Blacks as we hosted the first NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC SURFING ASSOCIATION (NSSA)Southwest College event of the season! Congrats to Frankie Seely and Michaela Alksne for making finals! Due to fog delays, the finals will be held at Seaside Reef in Cardiff on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Stoked to report that placed 4th at the NATIONAL SCHOLASTIC SURFING ASSOCIATION (NSSA) National College Championship at Salt Creek Monday! Fourth from left is head coach Tyler Callaway. Super fun and successful season and we're already looking forward to 2018-19!
