This spring, Crowell School of Business welcomed the In-N-Out Leadership Academy to campus — where they were able to get an early peek inside the new Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts studio facility.

Over 45,000 square feet. A 285-seat theater, soundstage, edit and audio suites, scoring and Foley stage, writer's rooms, and so much more for students. And a whole lot of vision becoming reality.

And here's a detail that made the tour extra special: within the Snyder School's new outdoor amphitheater is a tribute to In-N-Out co-founder Harry Snyder. Inspired by his love of the film "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World," the Snyder School features its own iconic "The Big W." This same iconic symbol inspired the crossed-palm tree "X" currently found outside every In-N-Out location since 1972. It felt fitting to welcome the In-N-Out Leadership Academy to a studio facility that carries that same symbol — a nod to the legacy of people who build with purpose.

This facility isn't just for filmmakers — it's a glimpse into the future of faith-driven creativity at Biola. We can't wait to see what's made inside these walls.

The Crowell School of Business is proud to celebrate seven students inducted into Epsilon Kappa Epsilon (EKE), Biola University’s highest undergraduate honor society.

Amanda Arias, Jack Sapyta, Jacob Cohen, Halle Hartwig, Kylie Kim, Riley Jones and Maria Vidal Poy were selected for their outstanding scholarship, Christian character, leadership and service—an honor reserved for the top 5% of the graduating class.

We celebrate these students for the ways they lead with integrity and faithfully represent Christ and Crowell School of Business through their academic and personal achievements. Congratulations, Spring 2026 inductees! 🎓

The next generation of sports professionals in action.

This past week, Biola University’s Crowell School of Business sent Dr. Jake Aguas and nine students to the Agent Academy, a one-day immersive experience focused on real-world skills in sports representation.

From recruiting and negotiation to marketing and branding, students stepped outside their comfort zones and gained hands-on insight into the industry — all while being challenged to lead with integrity.

Experiences like this do more than build skills. They help shape calling.
