University of Kentucky rifle stars Will Shaner and Sofia Ceccarello will take their talents overseas for the next week and a half as both will represent their home countries at the ISSF World Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

Registration for the 2022 USA Shooting Winter Air Gun Championship is now open! WAG will be held December 9-12 in two locations: Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Camp Perry, Ohio.

Schedule:
Dec. 09, 2022 Friday: Check-In & PET (Pre-Event Training)
Dec. 10, 2022 Saturday: Match Day 1 & Super Final
Dec. 11, 2022 Sunday: Match Day 2, Match Finals, & Awards
Dec. 12, 2022 Monday: Team Matches

Colorado and Ohio competitions will be run independently, with separate finals and awards at each location. Athletes may choose which location they shoot at, up to range capacity. Colorado will be the primary venue for Paralympic events and medals will only be given for these events in this location.

For our Paralympic Athletes coming to Colorado Springs, our new Paralympic Manager, Brenda Silva, is going to be holding an additional Paralympic training and practice event on Monday, Dec. 12th following the team matches.
