Dr. Alberto J. Román, Chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District and proud University of La Verne alumnus has dedicated his career to expanding access to education and championing student success across California.

A first generation college graduate, Dr. Román earned both his Master of Public Administration and Doctor of Public Administration degrees from ULV and now leads the nation‘s largest community college district serving more than 200,000 students .
