Saint Martin's University Office of International Programs and Development

Saint Martin's University Office of International Programs and Development We play an important role in the University’s international community by providing services related to language, culture and academic exchange.

The Office of International Programs and Development (OIPD) serves the Saint Martin’s community by offering a variety of international programs which help foster an appreciation for cultural diversity. Our office enhances and supports cross-cultural education and seeks distinction through our numerous programs designed to encourage an appreciation between international and domestic communities. We

believe that international education here at Saint Martin’s University is about cultivating a sense of global citizenry. Every year we welcome students from many countries, host cultural activities that promote international understanding, and provide avenues in which cultural exchange is a daily event. For students who are interested in going overseas, we provide support for study abroad opportunities all around the world. We also coordinate with our faculty to teach overseas or lead international study tours. We are committed to preparing Saint Martin’s students to be socially responsible global citizens, dedicated to serving others in the global community. Our goals include the following:
• To strengthen connections between international and domestic communities.
• To offer and support international programs and events that celebrate intercultural awareness and promote personal discovery.
• To enable international students to have a successful experience at Saint Martin’s University.
• To provide support and promote discovery of other cultures, both on campus and overseas. Please come by and visit with us. We are happy to have you as a part of our international community!
