After enjoying breakfast together, fire service leaders from across the state gathered to discuss professional, operational, and legislative issues impacting New Hampshire's fire service.

🚗🔧 LRCC Has New ADAS Testing Equipment

Today's vehicles rely on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including cameras, radar, and advanced sensors to keep drivers safe. After windshield replacement, bumper repairs, or suspension work, proper ADAS diagnosis, calibration, and verification are essential.

LRCC now has ADAS testing equipment that allows students to train on the latest technology used in today's automotive industry. (See photos for a look at our team learning about the new equipment!)

Our automotive students can now build skills in:

🌟 Welcome Week is still going strong!

Yesterday, students enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn, and games. Today, Student Senate is handing out free LRCC t-shirts during Swag Day. 👕

Students - don't forget to complete your Welcome Week Passport! Collect stamps from participating local businesses and submit your passport by Friday. (Hurry! Five of the prizes for being one of the first ten to complete your passport have already been claimed!) All completed passports will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize: a free 3-credit class.

We were excited to welcome Senator Maggie Hassan to LRCC today! 🙌

During her visit, Senator Hassan toured our Automotive, Energy, Paramedic, Electrical, and Automated Manufacturing programs, meeting with faculty, staff, and students along the way. She even had the chance to meet Winnie! 🌟

🎉 Supplies, breakfast, and prizes... what better way to start Welcome Week?

On Monday, students picked up free school supplies and snacks, then spun the prize wheel for a chance to win gift cards, mugs, fidget spinners, and more.

Today Student Senate is treating students to a free breakfast at the Countdown Cafe. 🥓🥚(Breakfast is available until 11:00 a.m., so there's still time!)

🔧🚗 The Automotive team kicked off the year with communication and team-building activities for the class of 2028!

Students put their teamwork skills to the test this morning by building towering marshmallow structures, following directions while working with a partner, and participating in a "Circle of Trust" challenge where they introduced themselves and raced to learn everyone's names.

A great start to the semester as classmates become teammates! 💪
