Louisiana Business Challenge WHO:
-Louisiana Lieutenant Governor's Office
-Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Market Board
-B.I. A high school can have as many teams as they want.

Moody III College of Business Administration at UL Lafayette

WHAT:
-All high school students are invited to participate. They are asked to formulate a promotional plan that will teach retailers (grocery store owners, for example) how to use social media or any form of non-traditional media to promote the Louisiana wild-caught seafood industry. They can promote either:
The wild-caught seafood indu

stry as a whole or
One of the six individual components:
-Crawfish
-Oysters
-Finfish
-Crabs
-Shrimp
-Alligator


WHEN:
-Teams of NO MORE THAN 4 students per team should register by Friday, December 5, 2014. Where:
-Teams must send in their Executive Summaries by February 7, 2015.
-The final competition will be held in Lafayette on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s campus on March 5th and 6th of 2015.
-Scholarships and prizes will be awarded.

We stopped by Ruffino's on the River recently with a plaque and special thank you card from the participants. Ruffino's sponsored an amazing dinner for the teams and gets kudos from the B.I. Moody III, College of Business Administration for their hospitality and generosity!

Moody III, College of Business Administration. Participating students competed to design a plan to promote Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board. Tomorrow's the big day! We have six amazing teams coming to the B.I. Moody III, College of Business Administration from Acadiana High, Zachary High, The St. Charles Satellite Center in Luling, and Fontainebleau High as they compete for over $30,000 in scholarships!
