The center will bring together industry leaders and innovators to harness the potential of AI to transform the healthcare profession by reducing costs, improving the quality of care, and making health information accessible to all populations.

Jim Williams, our NIMSAT Institute Public-Private Partnership Officer, was invited by the Louisiana Bankers' Association to present information about the Louisiana Business Emergency Operations Center at the 2026 Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Coalition Meeting on April 9, 2026.

During his presentation, he explained how the LABEOC and businesses can work together for situational awareness and resource sharing during a disaster. He also provided valuable tips on creating a preparedness plan and ensuring readiness for potential disruptions.
