Led by the Division of Global Engagement, this week highlights UL Lafayetteโs enduring commitment to international education and its significant contributions to global learning, teaching, and research.
We invite you to join us for a week of events celebrating our vibrant international community:
Monday, November 17 from 3 to 5 pm
Fulbright Program Open House โ Learn about the Fulbright Program, explore international study and research opportunities, and meet Fulbright alumni who will share their experiences. Location: Student Union, room 136
Monday, November 17 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Explore Engineering Courses in Barcelona. Learn about available courses and how to apply for the College of Engineering Study Abroad Award. Get answers to your questions about the program, course registration, and logistics. Location: Rougeau Hall, Room 324.
Tuesday, November 18 from 11:30 to 1:00 pm
F-1 Visa Essentials: Staying Compliant and Exploring Employment Immigration Options. Hear from an immigration expert Location: Student Union, room 209

Study Abroad Information Session & Gilman International Scholarship Workshop. Learn about summer 2026 study abroad opportunities and how to apply for the Gilman Scholarship to support your international experience. Location: Student Union, room 136

Culture Fest โ The Cultural Connections Board, College of Liberal Arts, Division of Global Engagement, and International Student Council present Culture Fest! Celebrate the diversity of cultures represented at UL Lafayette through music, food, art, and performances from around the world. Location: Student Union courtyard and porch.
