We invite you to join us in a crowdsourcing project to identify Locals and Missionaries from photographs taken in Laie, Oahu between 1920 and 1922!
Here is how you can help!
• Go to FamilySearch.org. Create a free, no-obligation account if you don’t have one already.
• Click on Search > Family Tree > Find by ID.
• Type in KWZC-LWB , click on George Bowles’ name, then on Memories.
• Click on one of the Hawaiian Mission Conference images (the 1920 photo is split into left side and right side photos).
• Zoom in with the +/- buttons, find a face you know, click on the face, and type their name in the “Who is in this memory?” box. Then click “Add New.”
• If you know that person’s Family Tree Person ID, scroll to their name in the “People” box in the upper right, click on “Attach to Family Tree,” and attach the ID to the person.
*Tagging photos is easier to do on a device with a browser than on a smart phone.
Thank you so much for helping with this project, and for helping to keep the memory of these people from being lost to the ages.
