We asked one of our vice presidents what she's most excited about for tomorrow, and her answer was simple: the opportunity to receive revelation and hear from one of God's appointed servants.

Now it's your turn.

Come ready to learn, be inspired, and receive personal counsel.

Last week, President Haws invited students to dive into Elder Rasband's April 2025 General Conference address ahead of tomorrow's devotional. 📖✨

Watch as he sits down with students to listen to their thoughts, insights, and takeaways from the talk.

Come ready to learn, be inspired, and receive personal revelation.

Let's fill the CAC! 🙌

See you there!

Surf competitions, insights from students, and spiritual moments. Enjoy this glimpse into Academic Vice President Isaiah Walker’s office.

We are grateful for Dr. Isaiah Walker’s service as the academic vice president for the last five years, and we are excited to see him more in the classroom as a faculty member.

At devotional, Stephanie Robertson taught that feeling overwhelmed is a shared human experience and that the Lord does not remove every burden but walks with us through it. She invited students to move forward with faith by doing what they can with the time they have, bringing even small faith to the Savior, allowing themselves to experience hope, and recognizing the angels placed in their lives. She emphasized that a “perfect brightness of hope” is not instant certainty or the absence of struggle, but a steady, growing assurance in Jesus Christ that comes as we keep turning to Him, even in uncertain and difficult seasons.

"A perfect brightness of hope is not something we feel all at once. It is something that comes to us, little by little, as we continue to turn toward the Savior." - Stephanie Robertson

“The ocean is one of the places I feel closest to God.”

For Shane Chapple, a childhood scuba diving experience sparked a lifelong passion for marine conservation. That passion led him to BYU–Hawaii, where opportunities in the classroom, the Dive Club, and marine research helped him grow into the leader and ocean advocate he is today.

From photographing sharks to mentoring fellow divers, Shane’s journey shows how faith, education, and purpose can work together to create lasting impact.

Today, he is living his dream of protecting the oceans he loves.
