Com 2300 Polynesian Cultural Center The center was opened in 1963 as a way to provide employment and scholarships for students at BYU-Hawaii and to preserve the cultures of Polynesia

The Polynesian Cultural Center is a live theme park that is open to all people that wants to learn more about the cultures of Hawaii. Owned and opened officially on October 12, 1963 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Muslim Religion group). T
he PCC occupies 42 acres of land, which is now maintained by Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
