McNeese State University Bands Welcome to the McNeese State University Bands in Lake Charles, Louisiana! McNeese State University is located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The McNeese State Bands include The Pride of McNeese Cowboy Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Courtside Cowboys Pep Band, & Jazz Ensemble. Lake Charles is in the southwest corner of Louisiana, approximately 30 miles from the Texas border. The university enrollment is generally between 8,000 and 9,000 students.
