Why did you choose Radiologic Sciences? ๐ฉป
I chose Radiologic Sciences because I wanted a career that allows me to help people in a hands-on way. I enjoy the medical field and interacting with patients when they are at their lowest and need a helping hand or a listening ear. I find it rewarding to know that the images I take can play an important role in diagnosing injuries and illnesses and help to save lives. I also love that this profession challenges me to keep learning while allowing me to make patients feel comfortable and cared for.

What are your career goals? ๐ฅผ
My career goals/dreams are more than just becoming a skilled radiologic technologist. I want to use my knowledge and skills to make a lasting impact by serving others wherever the need is greatest. One of my biggest goals is to reach underserved and third-world countries where access to medical imaging and quality healthcare is limited. I hope to use my profession to improve patient care and help bring essential imaging services to those who might otherwise go without them.
I also want to invest in the next generation of Radiologic Science students by mentoring, encouraging, and supporting them throughout their educational journey. I want to help students believe in themselves, overcome challenges, and realize that the goals that may seem out of reach are achievable with perseverance, support, and mentorship.
Above all, I hope to be an advocate for my patients, for the radiologic profession, and for future healthcare professionals. Whether I am caring for patients, volunteering in other countries, mentoring students, or promoting the importance of medical imaging, my goal is to leave the profession stronger than I found it. I want my career to be defined not only by the images I take, but by the lives I touch, the people I encourage, and the positive impact I make both in my community and around the world.

Why did you choose McNeese? ๐๐
Choosing McNeese wasn't just about staying close to home, it was about building a foundation for the future I want to create for myself. The experiences I've gained here have strengthened my passion for Radiologic Sciences and have helped prepare me to pursue my goals of serving where I am called, mentoring future students, and advocating for both my patients and my profession.
