Learning Services offers an open computer lab with approximately 40 computers. Software

Most software applications used on campus for labs, tutorials, practice, and assignments for course work are available on one or more of the computers. Additional software includes Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe CS7, and Skype. All computers can print front & back for $0.10 for black & white or $0.25 for color. Hard

We have a book scanner, multipage scanner, and a flatbed scanner as well as web cameras, interactive monitors and pads, and laser as well as color scanners. Support

Our knowledgeable staff can assist you with computer access, computer use, scanners, and other technology services. Generic Access

You do not need a BC account to access the internet or computer software. Online Learning Support
A section of the computer lab is set aside for online course work. This is the one lab where tests and quizzes can be completed here with Respondus LockDown Browser. Additional tools including mics, headphones, webcams, touch-screens, and related software is available for use. The Learning Services staff is available to assist with online course software. If you are not sure how to navigate or use BC's Virtual Campus/Desire2Learn or complete an assignment, the staff can assist you. Testing Services
We are pleased to offer testing as a service to Brazosport College students and faculty. Tech Support Services
With an open computer lab with many software packages, the Learning Services staff can help with many computer and related technology issues. That includes the following:

Logging on bcnet, Virtual Campus vs. Accessing the Virtual Campus/Desire2Learn
Using Microsoft Office
Using scanners, web cams, mics, and headsets
and more

Office Equipment/ Copier/ Laminator
The following equipment is available for student use

Calculators (TI83) - BC ID
Multicard reader
Photocopier - $0.10 per page
Laminator - $0.25 per foot, 3 foot minimum
Staplers including extra thick & long reach
Hole punches
Large tape dispensers
Headphones including Y adapters so 2 can listen at the same time

We are here to serve you... Come by for a quiet place to study or grab a snack and have some down time with a puzzle.

We are an open lab with 30 computers with LDB, 7 with webcams, a book scanner, 2 document scanners, printers, copier and office equipment. We also have 3 study rooms with white boards and will hold comfortably 6 students.

We also have calculators and headphones to checkout for the day.
