Whether you’re commanding the grill, traveling, or just aggressively relaxing on the couch, we hope you get some well-deserved downtime. Remember, the true spirit of this holiday is to actively avoid doing any actual labor.

Happy ! ⚡️ If there is one thing my journey has taught me, it is that the blueprint for success is never built overnight.

​When I transitioned from a collegiate brother into the real world, I will admit—I didn't fully understand how to leverage the immense power of the Sigma network. But as I found my footing, I learned to lean on my brothers. Their support and wisdom helped me navigate my path to a successful career, and it quickly became my mission to take those executive talents and translate them right back into Phi Beta Sigma.
​Looking back, the milestones of this journey have shaped my vision:

🔵 ​Fostering Brotherhood: Connecting and collaborating with truly amazing men across the fraternity.

🔵 ​Strategic Advising: Serving in a leadership group to advise our international board on impactful programs at Conclave 2025.

🔵 ​Local Leadership: Guiding our chapter operations and refining prescriptive strategies that drive real results.

​Today, I am actively leading in my journey and have actionable, proven strategies ready to be deployed across the state of Florida.

​We have the talent, the network, and the drive. Now, it is time to elevate our impact. As I run to be your next 1st Vice State Director, I am bringing this blueprint to the state level so we can continue to Engage, Empower, and Excite our brotherhood. Let’s get to work! 💙🕊️

When a Police Captain tells you to hug it out, you don't ask questions—you just hug! 🚔🫂

​Huge shoutout to our very own Brother, Captain Ronald Shaw. This year, he’s taking on the massive role of Safety Officer for 66 (yes, 66!) schools, setting the culture, the tone, and the standard for safety across Seminole County.

​But here’s the story that really shows why he's the perfect man for the job:

At a recent Coffee & Conversation event, Brother Shaw looked at a room full of people and did the unexpected. He had everyone stop what they were doing and give each other a hug, dropping a simple but profound reminder: you never know what someone else is going through.
​Leading with unquestionable authority and unmatched empathy?

That’s exactly how it’s done. We are incredibly proud of the impact he’s making in our community and our schools.
