Student Life is a rocking group of students (hey, like you!) who do really awesome things for the students at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom. Activities Board puts on epic events and such for you to enjoy, which are tons of fun and sometimes have free stuff/food. These include things like College/Family Movie Nights, Valentines and sometimes other major holidays. Also things we just think would be

cool and that the students would like and have a ton of fun at. Student Government does other cool stuff like ratifying clubs and placing students on to committees, and deciding how to best spend student funds.

Lavender Graduation ceremonies across the country encourage LGBTQ+ allies, advocates, and co-conspirators to attend and support their LGBTQ+ peers, fostering a sense of solidarity and community while promoting greater understanding and acceptance of LGBTQ+ individuals among the broader student body. Once again, the Office of Student Life at Pierce College aims to do the same by recognizing diversity, celebrating student success and fostering community for our students, faculty and staff.

The Office of Student Life invites you join us for The Amazing Wellness Race (TAWR). TAWR is not your typical race, it’s an immersive wellness experience designed to promote mental health, self-discovery, and overall well-being. TAWR offers up to 8 engaging stations, plus a Start and Finish Line, with activities focusing on mental and physical wellness. These stations, crafted by a team of dedicated experts including an education major and a seasoned psychiatric nurse, present diverse learning objectives and cater to various learning styles such as kinesthetic, tactile, visual, and more. From affirmation exercises, trivia, board games, movement options, and more; each activity is crafted to nurture a sense of wellness and connection within the campus community. This event is open to all Pierce College students.
