Georgian Court University has officially launched a new Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) in Informatics, Innovation, and Technology, expanding graduate opportunities for nurses and preparing healthcare professionals to lead at the intersection of patient care, data, and technology.

This fully online, 36-credit program is designed for working registered nurses and can be completed in as little as 18 months. Applications are now open for the inaugural Spring 2027 cohort!

One of Georgian Court’s favorite summer traditions is almost here!

Join fellow alumni, friends, and family on Sunday, July 19th, for GCU Day at the Races at Monmouth Park Racetrack. Enjoy a barbecue lunch, open bar, beverages, dessert, and all the excitement of live horse racing from a picnic area reserved exclusively for the Georgian Court community.

Doors open at 12 p.m., with food and beverage service beginning at the same time. Racing starts at 12:40 p.m.

We’re reflecting on our 115th Annual Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony and celebrating the Undergraduate Class of 2026!

It was a wonderful day as graduates crossed the stage surrounded by family, friends, faculty, staff, and the Georgian Court community. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this exciting achievement.

Sister Maria Cordis Richey, RSM, Ph.D. ’50 devoted her life to education, service, and inspiring others.

A beloved professor, former university president, poet, mentor, and Sister of Mercy, Sister Maria Cordis touched countless lives throughout her decades at Georgian Court University. Her kindness, wisdom, and encouragement continue to be remembered by generations of students, alumni, faculty, and colleagues.

Her influence lives on through the people she taught, the educators she inspired, and the Sister Maria Cordis Richey Center for the Humanities and Creative Arts, named in her honor.

During National Garden Week, we're highlighting the Japanese Garden, one of the most peaceful and unique spots on Georgian Court's campus.

Designed by Takeo Shiota, the garden was a birthday gift from George Gould to his wife, Edith. Visitors enter through a traditional gateway and follow winding paths past a historic teahouse from the 1910 Japan-British Exhibition, wooden bridges, and beautiful Japanese trees.

At the heart of the garden is an island featuring a striking Umbrella Pine, surrounded by Japanese maples, cherry trees, and other plantings. Together, these elements create a serene setting that reflects the history, beauty, and character of Georgian Court.

We're taking a closer look at the Formal Garden, during National Garden Week, a Georgian Court favorite known for its elegant design.

Inspired by the French parterre style, the garden features striking symmetry, maze-like walks, boxwood hedge borders, and a bronze sundial sculpture at its center. American holly, white pine, Norway spruce, mountain laurel, and other plantings add texture and character throughout the space.

With colorful blooms from spring through early fall, the Formal Garden remains one of Georgian Court’s most memorable outdoor destinations.

During National Garden Week, we're highlighting the Sunken Garden, one of Georgian Court's most distinctive historic spaces.

Designed by Bruce Price, the garden features a lagoon connected to Lake Carasaljo, a restored historic bridge, a 17th-century marble fountain from southern France, and elegant marble staircases and benches inspired by European gardens. Water lilies, flowering trees, and seasonal blooms add to the garden's beauty, making it one of the most recognizable spaces on campus.
