OUL ASL CLUB OUL ASL Club The club is geared towards promoting awareness of ASL throughout the Lancaster and surrounding communities.

We put on cultural events at the Ohio University Lancaster Campus and support other events in surrounding areas. There are many students that attend a variety of events. Our goal with this page is to get those students connected so that people can attend with one another and be more comfortable trying new events. We are uniting with the other campus ASL Clubs to further the amount of events and co

nnections. The Ohio University Associates degree in Deaf Studies and Interpreting is in full swing at this time. Getting your hands up and meeting new people is one of the most important aspects of growing in a new language.

Tomorrow is the big day! Students for the OUL Interpreting Program will be interpreting the 2:00pm performance in the Wagner Theater. Come out and enjoy an amazing performance!

LANCASTER -- Felicia Wagner and Leigh-Ann Wheeler aren't performing arts majors, but the two Ohio University-Lancaster students will be spending a lot of time at OU-L's Wagner Theatre this month.

REMINDER! OUC ASL Club will have a Silent Picnic tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1230 Pontius Road, Circleville, OHIO (corner of St. Rt. 188 and Pontius Rd) from 6pm to dark. Bring your own food and drinks. Please come and socialize with students and friends! This is the halfway point for many to come and meet new people!

With all of us being in different areas, I was thinking of trying to have a social that is more of a midpoint for everyone. It still may be a drive, but when looking and considering some places, it seems that Circleville may be a good place to try and have a midway point get together. What are peoples thoughts and feedback on this? Is anyone interested in something like this to get to know some of the ASL students on other campuses? Let me know, as I want to try and get something in the works for this quarter :)

OUL ASL Club Study Group meeting, in the Zone on campus, Friday 10 February 2012, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. My wife Jenny and I will both attend and help out where/who we can.
