Women of Purpose LU Women of Purpose (WOP) was formed in the spring semester of 2014 to meet the growing diverse population of LU women.

Women of Purpose was formed to meet the needs of the growing diverse female population on Langston University’s campus. The five pillars and values that are the foundation of our organization are diversity, leadership, academics, philanthropy, and sisterhood.
