🚨 Attention, Oklahoma High School Students! Don't miss your chance to apply for the Oklahoma's Promise Scholarship Program! 🚨

Oklahoma's Promise is a scholarship program administered by the State Regents for Higher Education. Qualifying students receive a 100% tuition scholarship to attend Oklahoma public colleges or technology centers. You can use Oklahoma's Promise to attend Langston University! The application is open to Oklahoma residents in 8th-12th grade, and students must apply before Dec. 31 of their senior year of high school. AUGUST RECAP 📸 Classes are back in session! We started our Fall 2026 semester off strong with a variety of activities and events, from hosting the Logan County community for Chamber Coffee to celebrating our employee August birthdays. We're so happy to have our students back on campus, and we can't wait to see what else the semester has in store!

Earlier this week, we had our first Lead Boldly Book Distribution! Students were able to stop by The Den in the SSC to pick up a free copy of "Lead Boldly: Seven Principles from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." by Robert F. Smith. This event was made possible thanks to a donation of books from Mr. Smith, and we are incredibly grateful for his generosity. Thanks to this donation, we are giving our students an opportunity to learn from the inspiring work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in a new and engaging way. Throughout the coming year, we plan to host more Lead Boldly events as the university endeavours to incorporate more lessons from Dr. King into our student programming!

Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce's weekly Chamber Coffee! Community members and business owners from all over Logan County joined us in The Den, and we had the pleasure of sharing more about Langston University and the incredible work we do here at Oklahoma's HBCU. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and thank you to the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce for letting us be a part of such a wonderful event!
