Update for APALSA Event at Haven House Today (07 FEB 14):

APALSA will be volunteering at Have House today from 3pm to 5pm. The carpool will be leaving at 2:15 instead of 2:30 due to the road closures in East Lansing (for President Obama's visit).

Dress: comfortable clothing (we will be cooking and playing with the children).

Also, if anyone would like to make donations, Haven House is accepting donations for items such as cleaning supplies and toiletries.

Please contact the E-Board at [email protected] if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you this afternoon, and bring a friend-- the more the merrier!

In light of the devastating typhoon that has hit the Philippians and the aftermath the region is currently facing, APALSA will be collecting donations to donate to the Red Cross. 100% of the donations will go to the aid of the thousands in the region affected by the storm.

PLEASE find it in your hearts, dig deep in your pockets and give what you can.

You can give any donations to any of the E-baord members. We are also working with Cooley administration to set up a donation collection bin in the Cooley Center. Or you can donate directly to the Red Cross here.

On behalf of APALSA and all those affected in the region, we thank you.
