October 21 is Financial Aid Day! 💰✨

Behind every student success story is a team of hidden heroes working throughout the year at UW. Swipe through to meet six team members from Student Financial Services’ team who volunteered to unmask their workplace "superpowers"!

While these six volunteered for the spotlight today, it takes many more to make the magic happen. A massive shout-out to our incredible Student Financial Services' team members who, amongst other things:

- Swiftly process loans and get refunds out the door.
- Wrestle with Banner daily to keep the systems running smoothly.
- Answer countless phone calls and emails with infinite patience.
- Carefully coordinate appeals and advocate for students.
- De-code and explain complex financial aid rules so they actually make sense.

Thank you to the entire Student Financial Services team for working tirelessly to keep our students moving forward and focused on their education! Want to show some love? Be sure to say a quick “thank you” the next time you call, email or stop by!

Pharmacy students Bailey and Kalli have had incredible opportunities thanks in part to generous support for the UW School of Pharmacy, especially through Giving Day.

Bailey traveled to Washington, D.C., where she represented the University of Wyoming and advocated for pharmacy and PBM reform. Kalli traveled to Greece for a study abroad experience through the School of Pharmacy and recently headed to Portugal for an international rotation.

Experiences like these give our students the opportunity to learn, grow and represent UW around the world, and they’re made possible in part by the generosity of our university supporters.

Catcher is a student here at the University of Wyoming and he recently had the opportunity to spend some time at the Neltje Center in Sheridan where he met a new friend, and together, they wrote a song!

Experiences like Catcher’s are made possible through generous giving, especially during our annual Giving Day campaign. This year, Giving Day runs from October 21 at noon through October 22 at noon, with campaigns supporting programs and initiatives across the university, including the Neltje Center.
