Agricultural and rural supply chains alone make up almost a fifth of New Mexico’s revenue. Researchers at NMSU are finding innovative ways to raise this number even higher. From dairy production to wine making and everything in between, they are working with professionals and academics to implement technology and policies that improve job stability and food security, increase revenue, and enhance agricultural sustainability practices.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington DC where I met up with industry friends and partners who also serve as judges and presenters throughout State Conferences and into the National events. It's such an honor to meet and share opportunities with students from around the U.S. who are representing their states about their career and academic opportunities. Congratulations to all the competitors and this year's winners. See you next time.
