The Office of Engineering Outreach and Recruitment in the NMSU College of Engineering provides statewide engineering-based outreach and public service programs. Outreach services include:

💧☀️Up to 12 barrels of saline water are produced with every barrel of oil that’s pumped from the ground. WERC’s “Produced Water: Enhanced Evaporation” project functions to find ways to responsibly evaporate this byproduct, with eventual goals of finding ways to beneficially resuse this waste water.
