As we begin a new academic year, Burrell College joins colleagues across the country in celebrating the continued advancement of osteopathic medical education and the important work of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM).

This year, Burrell College President John L. Hummer will serve as Chair of AACOM's Assembly of Presidents, working alongside fellow institutional leaders on issues impacting medical education, physician workforce development, and the health of the communities we serve. The Assembly also plays an important role in supporting AACOM's Board of Deans and helping advance priorities across the osteopathic medical education community.

President Hummer's appointment reflects Burrell College's ongoing commitment to collaboration, innovation, and preparing the next generation of physicians. We wish our students, faculty, staff, and colleagues throughout the osteopathic profession a successful and inspiring academic year ahead.
