NMSU Rotaract Club "Service Above Self"

NMSU Rotaract Club provides an opportunity for young men and women attending NMSU to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, address the physical and social needs of our community, promote better relations among all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service and encourage and develop group cohesion and camaraderie. Our goal is to provide

community service on a local and international level while building leadership and professional skills that will assist us in our field of study and better understand how to apply our studies to community contribution.

Rotaractors are back safe and sound from our 2018/19 International Service Project in Guadalupe Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico. We supported Tapestries of Life in their construction of the children's orphanage Casa de Las Gemas, to house 200+ kids. We also volunteered for Mercy Day, a mass food distribution that fed 300+ families for the week. It was an incredible experience, reminding all of us why we are Rotaractors and what it means to be humanitarian. It really put into action the motto "Service Above Self"!

Thank you Mesilla Valley Rotary Club for making this possible.
