Our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program has been named 2026 Site of the Year by the GECU Greater El Paso Credit Union Community Development!🏆

Since 2024, our student volunteers have helped the community file returns for free, growing every year:

📊 2026: 272 federal returns, 256 state returns, 45 student volunteers (29 undergrad, 9 graduate, 7 volunteer-only)
📊 2025: 258 federal returns, 251 state returns, 28 students
📊 2024: 204 federal returns, 202 state returns, 29 students

Congratulations to every student who’s contributed to this program’s growth this recognition reflects three years of hands-on service and real-world experience in action.
