Here’s a note from our President and VP of Recruitment💎

Dear PNM,

As you step into recruitment weekend, we hope you are excited to find your way home! Remember to take in each moment, enjoy every conversation, and treasure all of the connections you make along the way.

Recruitment is so much more than just joining a sorority. It is about finding the people who make you feel seen, supported, and completely yourself. We have had the privilege of seeing firsthand how special it is to have a sisterhood that celebrates you, challenges you to grow, and stands beside you through every season of life.

Our biggest piece of advice is to show up each day with an open mind and to be yourself no matter what! Trust the process, and you will find the sisters who make you feel most at home.

We cannot wait to meet you this weekend!

ADPi Why from sister Fatima 🩷✨

“My ADPi why is the immense love and confidence my sisters have brought to my life. Before joining ADPi, I felt like I didn’t have much of a place at UNLV. I simply went to class and work, and would rarely see my friends due to us having different schedules and responsibilities. At some point it became hard to feel motivated to go to school because I felt like I didn’t have much to look forward to. I knew I needed to find a way to stay involved in school before it was too late. One of my best friends encouraged me to join a sorority, and thanks to her I met some of the kindest and most genuine women ever. Although I didn’t go through official recruitment and only spoke with them a handful of times they left a long lasting impression on me. I was beyond grateful when I was offered a spot in ADPi, because for the first time in a long time I felt like I truly belonged somewhere. My sisters have helped me see a light I felt was dimmed, and have become the family I was missing for so long. ADPi thank you for reminding me that love truly is all around us.🩵OBIC”

ADPi goes abroad! Featuring sister Ashlyn🤍💎

“Traveling independently pushed me outside of my comfort zone and taught me to be present, adaptable, and open-minded. As an Alpha Delta Pi woman, I felt that I had the confidence and security to take that leap and pursue an educational experience so far from home. ADPi has given me a strong sense of belonging while also encouraging me to discover who I am as an individual. I believe that is one of the most special things about being an ADPi woman: we are all incredibly diverse, with different interests, backgrounds, goals, and passions, yet we are connected by the same values and support for one another.
Whether we are pursuing education, traveling the world, building careers, serving our communities, or following passions that are uniquely our own, we each bring something different to our sisterhood. Just as I hope to continue learning about and sharing the histories and cultures I encountered abroad, I hope to bring that same curiosity and passion into everything I do as an ADPi woman.”
